From a Small Dream to a Future Doctor

"In the community where I live, pursuing higher education is a challenge for many girls. Most families struggle to meet their daily needs, and education often becomes a secondary priority. Many girls in my neighbourhood leave school at an early age because their families cannot afford school fees, books, or other educational expenses.
My father works as a daily wage labourer, and my mother takes up small household jobs to support our family. During difficult times, there were days when even basic necessities seemed uncertain. As financial pressures increased, I feared that my education would come to an end. I was worried that I would have to give up my dream of becoming a doctor.
Everything changed when Kartavyam stepped into my life. Through their educational support and mentorship programs, I received the encouragement, guidance, and resources I needed to continue my studies. More importantly, they gave me confidence that my dreams were worth pursuing.
Today, I am continuing my education with renewed determination. I study hard every day because I want to become a doctor and serve people who cannot afford proper healthcare. I want to ensure that no child or family suffers because of a lack of medical assistance.
Kartavyam did not just support my education—they helped me believe in myself. One day, when I wear a doctor's coat, I hope to inspire other girls from communities like mine to dream big, stay in school, and never give up on their goals."
